Under heavy workloads, the memory can sometimes run hot. To avoid this, the IB-180MC-C31 has an aluminium heat sink. In addition, heat conduction pads ensure optimal heat dissipation. This means that the storage media in the DockingStation always remain within the correct temperature range.
