Trust is good, control is better

The Kensington Security Slot™ at the back and additional locks on each HDD tray provide security and also protect against accidental removal of the HDDs. The hard drives can be individually connected and disconnected without breaking the USB connection, and the system’s LEDs provide information on operation and hard drive usage. The enclosure can be used as immense data storage, and another feature is the external USB 3.1 (Gen 2) Type-C® host interface with UASP support. Incidentally, hard disks can be used without any capacity imitations.

Comfortable setup

The special features of the IB-3804-C31 include various convenient functions, for example the trayless hard disk installation and the energy-saving standby mode. But the HotSwap function, Plug & Play and compatibility with Windows®, macOS® and Android™ are also advantageous.

It´s (not) getting hot

The enclosure is largely made of aluminium and is therefore stable and dissipates operating heat particularly well. The cooling of the drives is also supported by a large 90 mm fan at the rear of the unit and by corresponding air inlets in the doors of the drives at the front.
