As a programmer and when developing concepts for clients, I’ve really come to appreciate the ICY BOX USB-C Docking Station. Using it with my MacBook Pro was effortless, and it quickly became an essential part of my home office.

Great little product. Quality is superb and getting the performance as advertised.

The NVMe PCIe Gen3 x4 connectivity of the Icy Box enclosure and USB 3.1 delivers outstanding performance — 100 GB of data were cloned in under 5 minutes, stopwatch in hand.

I’ve been using 2 units for 2 years and they work perfectly... In one of them I have a 2TB SSD that I use with my Mac, and the read and write speeds are very, very good... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Data transfer is very fast. I tried watching 4K movies and they display perfectly, with smooth video and audio playback, without interruptions or image freezing. The USB 3.1 speed is noticeable and works consistently.

What you can expect is refine design and good quality control, my last ICY BOX dock lasted for 10 years before I upgraded.

This enclosure checks every box: high performance, effective thermal design, tool-free installation, and broad compatibility.
